Associate Professor of French

I teach intermediate and advanced French, as well as Francophone literature, culture, and cinema courses at Seattle Pacific and serve as the co-advisor of our campus Cercle français. Prior to the pandemic, I was fortunate enough to have led numerous study abroad trips to France. I enjoy writing reviews for the "Society and Culture" section of The French Review, and I am currently preparing a revised edition of an introductory text to "La Francophonie" entitled, The Francophone World: Cultural Issues and Perspectives. A product of the Concordia College Language Villages "Lac du Bois" summer immersion camps, I went on to major in French at Georgetown University and to complete my MA and PhD in French at the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
People should talk to me about their favorite francophone authors, films, artists, and musicians!
