Regina Dee
Fairfax County Public Schools
French Teacher
Madame Regina Dee has been teaching French in public schools since 1986 when she began teaching French Activities in Baltimore City Elementary Schools and Middle Schools while attending Morgan State University. She currently teaches in The International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme at Mt. Vernon High School Fairfax County in Virginia. The student population is largely African and Hispanic. Her French Honor Society members have enjoyed field trips to the Alliance Française de Washington, D. C. as well as Mt. Vernon Estates where the "Clé de la Bastille" is located. Since Lafayette promised Washington that France would finance the American Revolution at Fort McHenry, Baltimore MD, the title of her presentation grew from her current proximity to the estate. This is an extension her AATF Boston 2013 convention presentation. Encore une fois, "nous voici!"
