Approaching the complex subject of immigration with students in advanced French classes through project based learning is an immensely rewarding experience. This session explores two separate projects with the goal of increasing understanding and empathy. We will examine how to curate resources and coach students into creative and thoughtful essays, videos, discussions and blog posts exhibiting what they have learned. Finally, we will look at ways to impact an immigrant community of choice in France.
