Increase vocabulary while also introducing AP themes and tasks. The Convention of the Rights of the Child serves as a point of departure to discover and discuss the issues facing children around the world. Materials include exercises and activities to accompany authentic videos, pamphlets, and websites. Students work on interpretive listening and reading and presentational speaking and writing while broadening their intercultural competence. Motivation is high as students engage with contemporary global issues.
