The presenter will explain how to create and carry out a partnership with local schools in order to provide pre-service language teachers with more real-world teaching experience prior to entering the classroom full-time. This partnership, integrated into the teaching practicum accompanying a teaching methods course, allowed K-12 world language education majors to create an after-school French club. Participants successfully designed and taught mini-lessons on French language and culture to local students virtually throughout the semester.
