Le Maghreb is a fascinating and culture rich part of the Francophone world. France’s history with the Beurs has led to current challenges as immigrants' struggle for acceptance and opportunities. The presenter will share materials, activities, IPA assessments, and enough resources for participants to walk away from this session with enough for an introduction to the Maghreb as well as a full unit on the challenges of immigration and assimilation for upper level students.
