Teaching and learning French today have evolved significantly given the technological innovations that have catapulted knowledge reach to make information so easy to obtain. Yet obtaining information is vastly different from acquiring knowledge. In a French curriculum, how do we maintain iGen student interest for them to pursue further classes, particularly students who are not French majors? The presenter will discuss opportunities for French faculty to cross-teach with another discipline, to increase enrollment by offering the same course in two platforms (online and face-to-face) simultaneously, to expand curricular design by involving students in the selection of French culture course topics.
